Developed in collaboration with a self-advocate with an intellectual disability (ID), "Getting Ready for Emergencies" is an educational program for individuals with ID. The program consists of 1, 2 or 3 part interactive learning sessions led by self-advocate Nate Trull. Since 2008, this program has successfully been delivered to over 200 MA adults and transition-age youth with ID. A pilot DVD has also been developed.
