Open Forum for COIVD Vaccine Questions For People with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities and their Families

Focused on Western Massachusetts

  • Do you or a loved one have an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD)?
  • Do you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccines?
  • Do you have questions or concerns about how to get a vaccine?
  • Do you want to learn the experiences of fellow IDD community members such as parents, caregivers, and self-advocates?
  • Would you like to ask questions about the vaccine to a doctor or lawyer who work with people with IDD?

 

Together with the Developmental Disabilities Network in Massachusetts, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center at UMass Medical School will be hosting a virtual Community Townhall to answer your questions about the COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Facts about the COVID-19 vaccine
  • Ways to access the COVID-19 vaccine in your community
  • Experiences with the vaccine from people with IDD and their family members
  • Answers to questions from people with IDD and their family members
  • Access to a medical doctor, a lawyer and other professionals who work with people with disabilities to answer your questions
