Services

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center at UMass Chan Medical School has a rich history of service aimed at improving the quality of life for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families.

Since 1970, the Shriver Center has served as a trusted resource for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and more recently has added a focus on people with behavioral health disorders. We support people and their families across Massachusetts and beyond.

Based on our comprehensive experience and expertise, we provide services and resources that strengthen inclusive communities.

Insurance Resource Center for Autism and Behavioral Health

The Insurance Resource Center for Autism and Behavioral Health  is a program for consumers, providers, employers, and educators on issues related to medical insurance for autism treatment.

CANDO

The Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CANDO) provides comprehensive clinical services to children with autism spectrum and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

INDEX maintains comprehensive information about programs, services, doctors, dentists, and other professionals who serve people with disabilities in Massachusetts and provides information and referral services.

Services for Neuroinformatics

The Neuroinformatics program services include The Neuroimaging Informatics Tools and Resources Collaboratory and CANDI Store, an institution-wide neuroimaging database that facilitates data integration with our MRI scanners, and access to computational analysis resources.

Services for Sibling Support

We strive to support all members of the family in order to maximize the impact on siblings. We provide sibling support to individuals and families as well as disability-oriented organizations.
