Project ImPACT

Project ImPACT is recognized as one of the most effective coaching programs for parents and caregivers of young children (up to age 6) with autism and other social communication challenges. Research on parent mediated intervention for children with autism and related social communication challenges shows that it is an effective treatment approach that leads to improvements for the child and family.

The program targets core skills in four areas of social communication: Social engagement, communication and language, imitation, and play. It is a naturalistic developmental behavioral intervention, or NDBI, that uses evidence-based intervention strategies to promote the child’s social communication.
