Health Promotion and Aging in Adults with IDD
In this webinar, registered dietitians Maresa Weems and Laura Truex, of the E.K. Shriver Center at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, speak on the importance of nutrition and exercise for adults aging with IDD. Topics covered include, possible nutritional problems, such as inadequate food intake and vitamin and mineral absorption; obesity; and the benefits of starting and building up physical activity.
