Master in Public Administration (MPA) in Disability & Health Policy

The Shriver Center LEND program, through an innovative partnership with the Moakley Center for Public Management at Suffolk University provides LEND Fellows with the opportunity to earn credits toward a Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA) during their LEND experience.

The MPA degree comprises fourteen (14) 3-credit courses. LEND Fellows participating in the MPA program take all the courses and seminars offered at LEND on Fridays and additional courses offered on the Suffolk Campus on Saturdays during the LEND year (Sept to June). In the following year(s) they take 3-4 additional courses on the Suffolk campus to complete the degree.

Financial information: The LEND stipend, combined with a scholarship from Suffolk University and some tuition-waivered courses, currently covers 11 out of the 14 courses required for the MPA degree. Financial aid from Suffolk University is often available for the remaining 3 courses that are paid out-of-pocket.
