Clinician Resources
This updated version was developed with the support of CBHI clinicians who know our communities and the realities of clinical work best. The training is built around realistic case simulations featuring improvisational actors and real clinicians. You’ll follow a case to see how the CANS fits naturally into clinical work. The training is dynamic, personalized to your setting, and designed to meet you where you are (whether you’re brand new to CANS or have been using it for years!).
- You must complete the training and pass the certification exam in order to conduct a CANS assessment.
- A practice test and answer key is available on the training site before you take the exam certification
- The User Guide is your best resource during the exam.
