Honoring Cultural Practices and Individual Preferences

The Honoring Cultural Practices webinar presents strategies to support both the individuals who are aging and the viewpoints of staff. The webinar reviews how religious affiliation, cultural identity and the caregiving customs of families and staff can effect support of an individual through the aging process and death. This webinar emphasizes the need for communication on the part of all the involved parties. 

This webinar was created by a partnership with the Department of Developmental Services and the Center for Developmental Disabilities Evaluation and Research (CDDER).
